Privacy policy

Updated September 17, 2026 · Applies to 2.1 and the upcoming 2.2.0; review-prompt details apply from 2.2.0

Data on your device

ToneTime stores your settings and current timer cycle locally, including shared storage used by the app and its reminder extension. From version 2.2.0, review-request eligibility uses a small set of local counters, dates, and the last requested app version. These records are not sent to the developer.

Permissions

Notifications deliver local reminders. Screen Time supports daily schedules and ongoing reminders outside the app. ToneTime does not read, display, or upload app names, browsing history, or screen content.

No account or advertising

ToneTime has no account registration, ads, third-party analytics SDK, or developer-operated tracking server.

Apple may provide the developer with App Store download and usage reports under Apple’s own settings and privacy policies. App ratings and the system share sheet are handled by Apple. Your choices

Reset settings inside ToneTime. From version 2.2.0, resetting also clears engagement counters; the review-request cooldown remains local to avoid repeated prompts. You can manage permissions in iOS Settings.
